2026 Fall LTRC/DOTD GIS Community Meetup
LTRC, in partnership with TeachMeGIS, is excited to announce the 2026 Fall DOTD/LTRC GIS Community Meetup, a knowledge-sharing event for GIS users across LADOTD.
This year’s meetup will be held on National GIS Day — Wednesday, November 18, 2026.
The GIS Community Meetup brings together GIS users from DOTD districts and headquarters to connect, share ideas, learn from one another, and discover solutions already being used across the department.
The meetup is an opportunity to:
- Showcase innovative GIS projects from offices across LADOTD
- Share solutions, workflows, and strategies with your peers
- Learn about new developments that are changing our GIS environment
- Connect with others solving similar problems across the state
- Help shape the future of GIS collaboration at LADOTD
We want you to share!
We invite you to give a 15–30 minute presentation about something you’re working on. It doesn’t have to be a formal presentation or a major project. If you’ve created an innovative map, developed a clever workflow, built a useful Survey123 survey, solved a GIS problem, or found a better way to get something done, share it with the GIS community! If you are interested in speaking, respond to Melissa Lee at [email protected] and let her know what your topic would be (just a few sentences is enough for now. We’ll ask for a full description closer to the date).
