Accelerating Bridge Delivery with InQuik®: A Modular Approach to Bridge Construction


As transportation agencies and contractors face increasing pressure to reduce construction durations, minimize traffic disruptions, and improve project cost certainty, innovative bridge solutions are becoming essential. InQuik® Bridge Systems offer a practical alternative to conventional bridge construction by combining prefabricated reinforcing cage and steel formwork, accelerated bridge construction (ABC) techniques, and cast-in-place concrete to create durable and efficient bridge superstructures.

This presentation will provide an overview of the InQuik Bridge System, including its design philosophy and construction methodology. Attendees will learn how the system utilizes stay-in-place galvanized steel forms to eliminate conventional deck formwork, reduce field labor requirements, and accelerate project schedules while maintaining the durability and performance expected by bridge owners.


The session will also explore project applications for short-span roadway bridge replacements in constrained environments. Case studies will highlight construction efficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and lessons learned from projects delivered at the County level. Particular emphasis will be placed on how InQuik supports accelerated bridge construction initiatives, enhances worker safety, and provides value-engineered solutions for Departments of Transportation, municipalities, and contractors.

Participants will leave with a practical understanding of where InQuik Bridge Systems can be applied, key design considerations, construction advantages, and the potential benefits of incorporating modular bridge technologies into future infrastructure projects


Driving Better Decisions: Roadway Condition Management with AI


Vialytics is an AI-driven road management platform that enables municipalities to automatically collect and assess roadway conditions using nothing more than a smartphone mounted in a city vehicle. As municipal staff perform their normal daily routes, the platform captures data on pavement conditions, traffic signs, and other roadway assets, transforming it into actionable insights. This approach eliminates the need for expensive specialized equipment or labor-intensive field surveys while providing cities with the information they need to make smarter, data driven infrastructure decisions.

This presentation will demonstrate how communities can leverage technology they already have to continuously collect high-quality roadway and asset data without investing in specialized hardware. Attendees will learn how objective, AI-powered condition assessments can help prioritize maintenance projects, justify budget requests, and move beyond subjective roadway ratings. The session will also explore how clear, visual reporting can improve communication with elected officials, leadership.. and the public, creating greater transparency and confidence in infrastructure planning and investment.


Designing More Cost-Effective and Sustainable Roadways Using Advanced Geotextiles and Pavement Design Software


Local municipalities, other transportation agencies, and transportation engineers are continually challenged to deliver safer, longer-lasting roadways while working within limited budgets and increasing infrastructure demands. This presentation will demonstrate how today's geosynthetic technologies, combined with state-of-the-art pavement design platforms, provide practical solutions for improving pavement performance while maximizing the return on public infrastructure investments.


Designed specifically for municipal engineers, public works professionals, consulting engineers, and transportation decision-makers, this session will illustrate how Tensar+ simplifies the evaluation of multiple pavement alternatives to identify the most cost-effective design based on project-specific traffic, various ground characteristics, and pavement conditions. Attendees will gain an understanding of how advanced geogrids improve load distribution and base stabilization, while asphalt interlayers mitigate reflective cracking and extend pavement service life in both new construction and rehabilitation projects.

The presentation will also explore the real-world benefits these technologies provide to local agencies. Optimized pavement designs can significantly reduce aggregate and asphalt quantities aa well as alleviate subgrade chemical treatment, resulting in lower construction costs, fewer truckloads of material, and shorter construction schedules.
