Course Details

Class: This course will introduce participants to the Louisiana Crash Tool

Pre-Training Competencies: Introduction to Safety Data

Target Audience: This training is intended for engineers, planners, and other traffic safety professionals who are evaluating existing safety performance of public facilities to develop potential safety improvements.

Course Description: This course will introduce participants to the new CARTS Crash Tool. Participants will learn:• How to query crash data by several methods,• Several approaches to prioritize crashes for review,• How to edit crash data for project-level analysis,• How to analyze segments, and• How to analyze intersections.
