This Highway Capacity Analysis webinar series presents detailed information on the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM7) procedures. Step-by-step instruction of the HCM methodology is provided for each analytical chapter, followed by example problems, Highway Capacity Software (HCS 2023) software demonstrations and manual workshops. Questions and comments are managed during the sessions with a copy of the slides provided following the agenda below.

Instructor: William M. Sampson, P.E., is a former faculty member of the University of Florida (UF) Department of Civil
Engineering with over 45 years of experience. He was the Director of the McTrans and T2 Centers and was also responsible for
technical assistance and ongoing development of the Highway Capacity Software (HCS) for over 30 years. He taught two
graduate courses (Traffic Engineering and Highway Capacity Analysis) at UF. He is a former member of the Transportation
Research Board (TRB) Highway Capacity and Quality of Service (HCQS) committee and still active on several subcommittees.
