Course Details
The instructor led 12-hour course combines classroom elements of safety, OSHA regulations, pre-operational inspections, and preventative maintenance for Rigging equipment. Participants will learn correct hand signals. They will learn about load charts, rigging equipment, rigging inspections, rigging capacities, how to make sling load angle calculations, how to interpret rigging charts, and perform rigging calculations. This course also includes a field exercise in which participants are required to demonstrate their knowledge of hand signaling by directing a crane operator to hoist and maneuver a load.
